Multimedia elements and services that can be integrated into a Nubart audioguide

The flexibility of the Nubart multimedia audio guides allows for the integration of audio along with text, images, videos, files and many more. All those elements can be integrated in any desired order.

Please scroll through out list of multimedia elements. Imagine how complete your audioguide could be with all of them!

Modular System

Your venue may have several exhibitions at the same time and should display more than one audio guide.

To make this possible, we offer a modular system, so that the same Nubart card can include several guides. You can also incorporate our tour guide system as a separate module.

Within each module you can incorporate any of the elements listed below:

Collapsible more-information-button

The owner of a Nubart card can consult the audio guide at home at any time. It is worthwhile to take advantage of this and provide a second level of insight into each of your exhibits without distracting from the tour during the on-site visit. Our collapsible "more information" button makes this possible.

You can place any kind of multimedia information behind this button: more audios, videos, images, PDFs...

Tagged audio guide

Let your users choose what really interests them!

Our tagging system allows you to limit the displayed content to the user's wishes.

This is very useful at trade shows, but also for very rich audio guides with a lot of content.

If they change their mind, users can select a new list of interests at any time. The number of tags is unlimited.

Audio tracks

At Nubart we use an in-house audio-player that works well with any browser.

A frame indicates which track is currently being played.
Audio tracks are generally recognized by image, number and/or name of the exhibit or point of interest.

Audio-slider

Our audio-slider allows the automatic sliding of images at the exact moment when the audio track refers to them.

Ideal to illustrate historical contexts, to point out a detail of the exhibit...

Unlike videos, the Nubart audio-slider is fully compatible with our total offline mode.

Before / after images

Has your venue changed over time? Do you want to show the progress of an archaeological excavation? Do you want to show a painting before and after a restoration?

With our function before / after, of great educational value, the visitor can slide a central bar with his finger to see the change.

Panoramic 360° images

Those images are immersive and allow the visitor to "move inside" a 360° panoramic representation of your venue.

On many smartphones the image will move automatically, generating a nice wow-effect. On others the user can move the image with the touchscreen.

Info button

Sometimes a little additional information can be very helpful. That's why we've created our information button. There you can place, for example, opening hours or contact details. Phone numbers or email addresses are clickable.

Transcriptions for the deaf

An icon gives you access to the full transcript of the audio track in the corresponding language.

A scrollable window will open. By closing the window you return to the audio guide.

The icon can also be replaced by an "i", using this function to provide extensive textual information, as an alternative to our info button (see above).

Maps

Maps are a must for city-tours. They are also useful to direct the visitor towards landmarks or buildings outside the exhibition.

We integrate interactive maps with visitor's location.

Geo-scrolling

Our geolocated audio tracks light up in red and scroll automatically to the top of your mobile screen as you approach the exhibit or location. In Android, this process is enhanced by a slight vibration of the mobile phone.

In this way, your visitor always knows which track she is supposed to listen to next. They do not play automatically to enable a non-intrusive functionality.

Geo-tracking

Upon request, we can track the positions and movements of your audio guide users in your facility. This information can be of significant strategic value, especially for routes, large areas and city marketing. Data is anonymized and GDPR-compliant.

At any time you can view the resulting data and heat maps in your password-protected customer area.

Audio guides per remote control

Nubart's customers can control their audio guides by remote control from their own smartphone.

By clicking on a track, the guide sends it in real time to the members of a group, in any language they have chosen. The tracks can start playing automatically in autoplay.

This solution is ideal for boat or bus tours, or for places that can only be visited with a human guide, but not all members of the group speak the guide's language..

Your visitors can share files with your museum. For example, they can upload historical documents or family photographs to enrich your collection. Or upload photos to participate in a contest your museum has launched.

You will receive a notification each time someone uploads a file. The files go through an antivirus and are deposited in your client area for your review.
